OLmeca Extra Aged - Olmeca "Extra Aged" Tequila Anejo is categorized as an Extra Anejo. Type is determined by age, and this spirit is aged for 18 months. Generally, Extra Anejo ("extra aged" or "ultra aged") tequilas are aged for more than three years in small oak barrels. This process creates a dark mahogany colored spirit with rich and complex flavors. The Extra Anejo category was first established in March of 2006.Fruity, hint of strawberry, cherry and prune, with lime, smoky and woody hints and a taste of smooth, woody, slightly sweet honey flavour with an extended aftertaste.
